The quaint little village with its scenic landscape falls enroute to the Samina Valley from the capital city Vaduz. Triesenberg offers some magnificent views of green landscape that are picture-perfect for calendars. The village is known for its distinct dialect that is greatly influenced by the Walser migrants who once inhabited the region in the Middle Ages. While German and Alemannic are the main languages spoken here, this ancient dialect is also encouraged along with the other two spoken languages.
All the towns and villages that surround or fall on the way to the Samina Valley are mainly targeted by tourist in the summer months to enjoy the scenic views of the splendid landscape while winter sports enthusiasts visit the region for some wonderful winter activities and some great skiing experiences in the nearby Alpine Mountains. Since Liechtenstein is such a tiny country it is not difficult to travel from one region to another, as the distances are very short, allowing you to cover more than one attraction at a time.
Liechtenstein is a perfect place to visit if you are seeking a peaceful holiday and waking up to some magnificent views of green mountains and colorful villages scattered in tiny specks in the valleys and among the hills.
